Pake samponya ini terus ya, Mba? Ga ganti-ganti? Hmm, dulu sih sempet pake sampo ini terus ganti sampo lain, gatau deh kok rasanya rambut kasar banget, akhirnya kembali ke sampo ini. Yang aku suka dari sampo ini tuh – seperti yang sudah aku sampaikan di artikel bulan lalu – rambut aku masih bisa agak lemes teratur walau tanpa pemakaian kondisioner. Bukan berarti setiap keramas aku skip kondisioner ya. Selain itu, Tresemme – Scalp Care Anti Ketombe & Rambut Rontok juga bisa menjaga keadaan kulit kepala aku agar tidak berketombe dan tidak terlalu rontok. Etapi kalo rontoknya karena stress itu agak kurang bisa nolong sih. Apakah setelah sampo ini habis akan repurchase lagi? Engga. Ga repurchase soalnya udah nyetok hahaha.

Pertama kali beli micellar water ini tuh di Indomaret kalo ga salah, nyari micellar water ukuran paling kueciiilll karena saat itu aku sedang dalam perjalanan lupa bawa cleanser pfftt. Pas dicobain lah kok enak banget ini bersihin mekapnya, cepet bersih, ya karena ada oil-infused-nya itu. Tau gitu kan beli yang kemasan gede sekalian biar ga sering-sering keluar rumah buat repurchase skincare. Dari situlah akhirnya aku sering banget make Garnier – Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water sebagai step pertama (kalo lagi ga dandan atau dandanannya ga berat) atau step kedua (setelah minyak zaitun/cleansing balm kalo seharian pake mekap yang berat). Produk Garnier satu ini mampu mengangkat make-up yang waterproof sekalipun loh, guys!

Pada produk Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water, Garnier menggabungkan teknologi micellar (teknologi produk pembersih wajah yang 90% kandungannya terdiri dari air, kemudian diformulasikan dengan molekul micellar yang mampu menangkap kotoran dengan cepat) dengan argan oil. The Texture

This foundation has a thick texture yet still easy to blend. Unfortunately, its formula clogged in my fine lines while I swatched it onto my hand. It is okay but my skin looked just dry. Its finish is a bit powdery both in hand and in the face.

It smells like wood or wood fiber I am not sure but yeah that it is.

Foundation is used in a clean face. Use it all over the face by patting it gently.

F. MY EXPECTATION FOR WEARING CATRICE 24H MADE TO STAY MAKE UP FOUNDATION

So lately I have been wearing this Catrice foundation, the one that said it able to stay lasts up to 24 hours, only for 6 hours. During those 6 hours, my face was exposed to ablution water, heat, wind, yet my face was just fine, the foundation did not fade. If this one said it does not oxidize, but actually it is kinda bit oxidized in my face. Since it is claimed lasts up to 24 hours, I wonder what it is gonna be if I wear it for 24 hours, too. Probably, or for sure, I am going to skip my skincare night routine for the sake of the proof. And I wish this foundation really keeps their claims so I can count on it on the next occasions. Lemme try!

G.     THE REVIEW

First, I am gonna tell you about my skin tone. My skin tone is actually warm, tanned, or in Indonesia, it is called sawo matang. Since I routinely using skincare, my face looks brighter tho I never use any brightening product except to fade my acne scars. So I think 005 Ivory Beige shade gonna fit to my skin tone right now. Well, that is a kind of random fact hahaha but yeah that it is. Second, because I have a few dark circles and I am not accustomed to wearing those colorful concealers, so it looks greyish while using this shade. Third, I really want to prove that this foundation is walking its talk: lasts up to 24 hours, not oxidize, mattifying, full coverage, and waterproof. No, you do not have to follow me because I am worried your skin gonna be broken out or something.

Okay, I usually use only 1 pump foundation as below.

This is my current skin condition. There are hormonal acne, acne scars, and pockmarked. Once it covered with this foundation, my flaw is not totally covered. Well, you can see it below. Do I need more foundation pumped to cover my flaws perfectly? Or what does “perfect coverage” really mean?

There are acne scars, acne, and some old pockmarked. I think this foundation only disguises the flaw, not covered them fully.

So do my left cheek, there is also an active pimple. The foundie could not cover it well. This is how my left cheek looks like.

More zoom out? Okay, see the pic below. This is how I look with Catrice 24h Made to Stay Make Up Foundation at 12 pm (10/20/2020). You still can see my black spots and my large pores. Well, I do not wear any powder after applying foundie, anyway.

Overall, it has a matte finish with sheer coverage. A bit powdery yet not that powdery as I thought, slightly glowy, and not cakey. It looks very natural on my face, it does not look like I am wearing a mask right? Lol. By this sheer coverage, I think it still okay to use in daily but... I am looking for full coverage. L

Now, let us see how the foundation looks on my face as time goes by. My activity is (((only))) write articles on the laptop, walking from my bedroom to the bathroom, and go back sit down in front of my laptop. While testing this foundation, I took 3 photos during the afternoon, evening, and tomorrow morning.

Now, look at my face closer. This is how my large pores are nicely disguised by the foundation. It is still good for 5 hours application. The pimple around my nose cannot be really hidden since it is textured. Meanwhile, my acne scars spotted around eyebrows, right cheek, and left cheek can be seen clearly even since its very first 1 pump-swatched.

Last update! This is how I look the next day at 10:29 am. You know I was going to wear this foundation for 24 hours but I think I have to end it up by now because.. it is already faded off. I am not going to go to events with this pale look, right? Let us check. My large pores more, acne scars, and black spots are more clearly visible. My skin texture is already rough.

J.        CONCLUSION

So I have been wearing Catrice 24h Made to Stay Make Up foundation for 22 hours, you know I skipped my night skincare routine. Tho its claim said that it lasts up to 24 hours, I could not extend it up to 24 hours because... the foundation was already faded and gone when it came to 9 hours long. It only stayed for 9 hours probably the way I put the foundation on my face but well, that is my taste of using foundies. I cannot stand myself confidently by swatching them too thick. Or maybe, if I am okay with the bolder look – 3 pumps of foundation, for example, the long-lasting and perfect coverage effect as its claim will be proven. But, using only 1 pump is still okay for hours long. Now I am gonna match the claims to its result according to my own experience of using it. Please kindly remember that I used only 1 pump.

Claim 1: Last up to 24h

No. I think it only stays effectively for 2-6 hours. By effective, I mean I get a natural bold look, sheer coverage that disguised my large pores, and… yeah, nice to see my face on camera.

Claim 2: Perfect coverage

No. It does not serve a perfect coverage since the coverage is sheer, not full. Wait, what does “perfect” mean, Catrice? We cannot directly define “perfect” as “full”, right?

Claim 3: Mattifying

Yes. It is mattifying for hours, the foundation seems blended into my skin. It helps my skin bold in the natural version.

Claim 3: Waterproof

Yes. For 5-6 hours.

So, this is the pros and cons of Catrice 24h Made to Stay Make Up in brief.

Pros:

+ Easy to blend

+ Does not serve cakey result

+ Not that powdery

+ Bolden my skin naturally

+ The more I wear, the more it blends into the skin. It does not serve really-matte anymore, but just like skin. A bit glossy, yet I love it.

+ Waterproof, for 5-6 hours.

Cons:

- Does not serve full coverage since my pimple, scars, and black spots are still clearly visible.

- A bit oxidized.

- It only stayed lasts up to 5-6 hours long for only 1 pump foundie.

I have to say that the matte finish has given really looks good on my skin. Yet, one thing that really missed out is, it does not serve a full coverage. Tekstur

Foundie ini teksturnya ga terlalu cair, ga terlalu encer, agak kental, tapi masih mudah diratakan ke kulit. Sayangnya, pas aku olesin ke tangan, foundie ini masuk sela-sela fine lines yang membuat tampilan tangan menjadi terlihat kering. Selain itu hasil akhirnya juga sedikit powdery baik di tangan maupun di wajah.

Aroma

Pas nyium foundation ini, aku keinget sama bau kayu deh. Entahlah, itu pun aku berulang kali nyiumnya antara ada aroma cat tembok belum kering tapi bukan, kayak ada aroma kayu dan serat-serat kayu. Gitu lah. Tenang aja, aromanya ga menganggu kok.

F. HARAPAN SETELAH MEMAKAI CATRICE 24H MADE TO STAY MAKE UP FOUNDATION

Jadi akhir-akhir ini aku udah pakai foundation Catrice yang katanya bisa tahan 24 jam selama beberapa hari, tapi ga sampai 24 jam. Paling banter cuma 6 jam dengan aktivitas di luar ruangan cuma naik ojek online, trus ke dokter gigi bentar, balik ke rumah naik ojek online lagi, trus udah sampe rumah. Selama 6 jam itu sih muka udah kena air wudhu, panas, angin, dan masih tetap baik-baik aja, ga luntur. Kalo yang katanya dia ini ga oxidize, tapi di muka aku tuh kayanya iya deh tapi dikiiit kok ga sampe beda banget tone kulit antara sebelum dan sesudah pemakaian. Nah karena foundation ini klaimnya bisa tahan sampai 24 jam, aku jadi penasaran buat make ini selama 24 jam juga. Pertanyaannya, emang siapa juga yang mau pake foundie selama itu ya? Hmm, kalo aku pake di rumah, berarti pas tidur juga tetep dalam keadaan pakai make up? Waaw, pelanggaran dong ini hahaa. Tapi baiklah, aku penasaran soalnya. Dan aku harap sih dia beneran bisa tahan lama yah, ga pudar selama kupakai 24 jam itu dan bisa kuandalkan untuk acara-acara penting ke depannya. Let me try!

G.     REVIEW PEMAKAIAN

Pertama, karena kulitku tuh aslinya sawo matang, gegara sering diskinkerin aja jadinya agak cerahan dikit, aku pilihnya shade 005 Ivory Beige. Kedua, karena aku punya dark circle di bawah mata dan aku ga kebiasa pake concealer warna-warni buat nutupin, jadinya area tersebut suka keliatan jadi abu-abu kalo pake shade ini wkwk. Ketiga, aku penasaran pengen buktiin ketahanan foundation ini selama 24 jam astaghfirullah nanti malem aku turu tetep mekapan iki wkwkwk. Btw ini ga perlu ditiru kok asli, apalagi kamu yang kulitnya sensitif pake ini seharian nanti bisa break out.

Seperti biasa, aku kalo make fondesyen tuh ga banyak-banyak, paling cuma satu pump aja. Kira-kira segini lah.

Keadaan kulitku saat ini lagi ada jerawat hormonal di beberapa titik, trus ada bekas jerawat dan bopeng dari kapan tau ahahaha. Begitu ditimpalin foundie ini yang katanya perfect coverage ternyata.. engga guys, huhu. Apakah fondie yang aku pakai kurang banyak? Harus berapa pump emangnya?

Pipi kanan aku masih ada bekas jerawat, jerawat, dan beberapa jeglongan bopeng yang sudah menipis. Pas dipakein foundie ya cuma tersamarkan aja, ga tertutup maksimal.

Pipi kiri juga begitu, ketambahan jerawat aktif lagi. Dipakein foundie ga langsung flawless apalagi jerawatnya itu masih belum kempes. Kalo di-zoom out kira-kira begini lah hehehe.

Zoom out lagi? Boleh. Ini penampakan dari depannya. Flek hitam masih keliatan, pori-pori di pipi kalo di-zoom masih jelas banget wkwk. Oyah, ini aku ga pake bedak ya. Selesai pake mekap pukul 12 siang (20/10/2020).

Overall, dia ini memang hasil akhirnya matte, sedikit powdery tapi ga se-powdery yang aku bayangkan. Malah keliatan agak mengkilap kan di kulitku. Ga cakey, keliatan natural buanget di kulit, ga keliatan kayak pake topeng juga. Hehehe. Dengan coverage yang tidak sesempurna aku bayangkan, sebenernya gapapa sih tapi kan aku nyarinya yang full coverage. :(

Nah, sekarang kita lihat bagaimana penampakan foundation ini seiring berjalannya waktu. Aktivitas yang aku lakukan di rumah (((sebatas))) nulis, mondar-mandir kamar-kamar mandi (cuci muka)-duduk depan laptop. Foto aku ambil 3x yaitu sore hari, malam hari, dan keesokan harinya.

Jiah, close up. Iya, soalnya aku mau ekspose bagian pori-poriku yang besar, gimana jadinya kalo dipakein foundie ini. Di sini, pori-pori masih keliatan agak rapet yah, masih oke lah selama 5 jam pemakaian. Ada jerawat di dekat hidung, agak sedikit ter-cover tapi ga beneran ilang soalnya itu tekstur jadi masih bisa keliatan. Untuk bekas jerawat di dekat alis dan di pipi kanan kiri jelas lebih keliatan dari pas pertama kali ngoles foundation yang cuma satu pump.

Update terakhir! Ini penampakan kulit muka pada pukul 10:29 keesokan harinya. Rencananya sih mau aku lanjutin sampai 24 jam tapi... jam segini aja udah pudar banget. Pori-pori gede yang makin keliatan, bekas jerawat item-item terlihat jelas, tesktur muka udah mulai kasar. Abis take foto ini aku bersihin muka pake micellar water yang diusap ke kapas. Kapasnya gimana? Ya kotor, kayak ngelap muka bangun tidur aja gitu udah ga ada bekas foundie-nya.

Jadi aku udah pake foundation Catrice 24h Made to Stay Make Up selama 22 jam, termasuk pas tidur juga tetep pake, skip double cleansing apalagi skinkeran. Biarpun klaimnya bisa tahan sampai 24 jam tapi ga aku tahan-tahanin sampai 24 jam pemakaiannya karena di durasi 9 jam aja foundationnya udah pudar. Bisa jadi karena foundie yang aku pakai terlalu sedikit, but yeah aku cuma nyesuaiin dengan kebiasaan dan seleraku mengaplikasikan foundation. Mungkin kalo aku pede tampil dengan foundation tebal sampai 3 pump, efek tahan lama dan perfect coverage seperti yang ada pada klaimnya akan terbukti. Dengan pemakaian foundation yang cuma 1 pump di muka, menurut aku dia masih bisa dipake mejeng untuk beberapa jam ke depan. Ini aku mau cocokin antara klaim produknya dengan hasil pemakaianku selama 22 jam - inget yaaa, aku cuma pake sak pln pump tok hihihi.

Ga. Menurutku dia cuma bertahan secara efektif sampai 5-6 jaman aja. Efektif maksudnya dengan look yang masih bold, coverage yang bisa menyamarkan pori-pori, dan ya keliatan oke aja gitu di kamera.

Klaim 2: Perfect coverage

Ga. Ga sempurna sempurna amat sih tapi menurut aku ini.. yaudahgapapa.

Klaim 3: Mattifying

Yes. Untuk beberapa jam sih iya, tapi selanjutnya dia tuh kayak menyatu dengan kulit gitu. Ga me-matte-kan tampilan tapi kayak ngebantu kulit keliatan lebih bold dengan versi naturalnya.

Untuk beberapa jam, iya. 5-6 jam lah. Sisanya memudar sedikit demi sedikit.
